Cingular Samsung D807

The slim phone market has exploded as of late, and who better to benefit from the madness than us consumers? Samsung has definitely been a pain in Motorola’s side lately, as their well-received A900 and T809 models have been doing very well.

The particular model we are looking at here is the Cingular Samsung D807. This phone has a very impressive array of goodies that is sure to please the gadget freak in all of us. The usual suspects include an alarm, a stopwatch, world time, a calculator, notepad, to do list, and a unit converter. Vibrate, voice dial, speakerphone, text & instant messaging, a browser and Bluetooth are standard. Playing music is a pleasure with the integrated mp3 player. The phone speaker is decent for both calls and music. A 1.3 megapixel camera included on the phone is above par, with a good range of resolution settings and a video mode. Best of all, an SD memory slot is available for you to transfer your files and photos if Bluetooth is not an option. Personalization is a breeze, with nearly everything on the phone interface easily changed to suit your tastes. Cingular definitely kept the user in mind when choosing this phone as a part of their cell phone lineup.

After several trips to and from work by several of our staff members, the D807 proved to be problem-free, and thanks to Cingular’s network, the calls were clear.
